Cooper is a 5-month-old, 8 

lb male Italian Greyhound who broke his leg at 2 places and needed surgery. 



Cooper the Italian Greyhound arrived on Jan 3, 2018, because of a fractured leg.  Surgery was done at CVL in Laval and he has been doing well since.  He is on cage rest until 

March 3, 2018

. He needs to be kept quiet to make sure the bones heal well.  Italian Greyhounds are not meant to jog with or do agility. Stairs are not their friends either.  They make lovely pets but must be considered like expensive porcelain.  Since Cooper is still on cage rest, he cannot go to a family where he will spend his day in a cage.  His foster mom is home with him during the day.  He can be out of cage in a room where there is no jumping or stairs with adult supervision.  He will need help with his housebreaking since we have not been allowed to let him run outside or take him for walks.  Right now we are using peepee pads for him.  If you feel, you are the right home and can give Cooper the time and care he needs please apply for him.  Only the approved family will be contacted.

This organization is run entirely by volunteers and we try our best to save as many homeless dogs as possible. Since there are only a few volunteers, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about the animals. Rosie Animal Adoption does not have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved, or at adoption clinics. Or maybe you know you will be able to care for a pet for the short term, but are not sure about your long term living situation.  Now could be the perfect time to become a Foster Care Guardian and open your home and your heart.  Rosie supplies veterinarian care which includes vaccinations, de-worming and de-fleaing as well as well as spaying and neutering. Rosie also supplies collar, leash, good quality dog food and cage. Rosie often needs foster homes for puppies.  Puppies cannot be left alone a complete day.  All the foster dogs need is love and care. A car is a must.
